Deep Tissue Massage

$70 per 60 minutes

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past injuries.  Keep in mind that soreness after the treatment can occur and is normal. Drink plenty of water to hydrate muscles and flush kidneys.

Swedish Massage

$70 per 60 minutes

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. I use lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Cancer/Oncology Massage

$70 per 60 minutes

Oncology Massage is not a type of technique but rather massage adapted for the specific needs of cancer patients.  Adaptations may include adjustments to positioning, pressure, speed, duration, and site avoidance. I focus my attention on creating a gentle, nurturing environment for healing to occur.

Pregnancy Massage

$70 per 60 minutes

Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Pregnancy Massage uses Swedish techniques to relieve areas of pain and discomfort experienced during the pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.  Bolsters are used to create a container that allows a pregnant mother to lie face down, comfortably, even in the final month.

Myofascial Release

$70 per 60 minutes

Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. Throughout the body is a matrix of tissue called fascia or connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Myofascial release uses massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release fascial constrictions around the muscles and bones.
